1. Share. Otherwise, you'll get 1000-2000 calories in each appetizer or platter, and another 1000 in your dessert.
2. Fajitas. Ask for less oil and no butter. And skip the sides
3. Tacos. Chuck or decrease the cheese
4. Enchiladas, burritos, etc. Cut the sat fat by ordering grilled chicken or fish instead.
5. Beans. Get black beans (100-200 cals) instead of refried beans (300 cals)
6. Rice. Get a side of salad (no or less cheese) or vegetables instead of salty write rice.
7. Sour cream. Use (20-calorie) pico de gallo or salsa instead of (90-calorie) sour cream to dodge 5 grams of saturdated fat.
8. Tortillas. Limit them. Each adds 120-140 calories (fajita size) to around 300 cals (burrito size).
9. Combos. Hold combo platters to no more than 2 items.
10. Fillers. Skip sweet corn tamalito or spoon bread and save 180-250 cals.
